Head to the north woods with one of your favorite The Studio instructors for a weekend of yoga, connection and sweet, sweet peace.

 

???????????????????????Take a personal retreat. It’s time to break away from the daily grind and head up to the north woods for a lovely weekend escape. Come for self-care, a mini yoga immersion, and something new and different to do. Enjoy daily yoga classes, discussion with like-minded people, solo time, winter walks and more. Give yourself much needed ‘you’ time, or come with a friend or loved one and enjoy this lovely experience together. Return home renewed and refreshed from the inside out.

We’ve booked a large cabin nestled among 300 acres of woodland and 1.5 miles of Boulder Lake shoreline at the lovely Camp Manitowish. We are super stoked.

Friday 3/11:

2-4:15pm: Arrival
4:30-5:45pm: Yoga
6-7pm: Dinner*
7-8:30pm: Intros and discussion

Saturday 3/12:

7-8am: Gentle movement, pranayama (breath practice) & meditation
8-9am: Breakfast*
9-10am: Free time
10-11:30am: Yoga
12-1pm: Lunch
1-4pm: Free time
4:15-5:45pm: Yoga
6-7pm: Dinner*
7-8:30pm: Fire ceremony & discussion

Sunday 3/13:

7-8am: Gentle movement, pranayama & meditation
8-9am: Breakfast*
9-10am: Free time
10-11:30am: Yoga
12pm-1pm: Depart

Saturday lunch and snacks are on your own. Feel free to bring your own food (we have a full private kitchen in our lodge). You can also venture out to Boulder Junction or Minocqua for lunch.

 

Yoga:

Wake up with gentle morning movement, pranayama (breath work) and meditation. Wrap up each day with yin yoga, yoga nidra and a long delicious savasana. Elements of nature will be woven into the yoga classes throughout the weekend: Earth, Water, Fire & Air. We’ll spend our last evening celebrating with a fire ceremony.

 

Things to do in your free time:

  • Relax!
  • Take in that good book you’ve been wanting to read.
  • Hike. Beautiful scenery as far as the eye can see.
  • Sit. By the fire.
  • Connect.
  • Go snow shoeing or cross-country skiing. Equipment rentals available here.
  • Sauna.
  • Go for a climb. (Climbing wall available)

*Cancellations that occur more than 14 days from program date will be charged a $50 cancellation/administrative fee. Cancellations less than 14 days of program date will receive a 50% refund – any cancellations within 48 hours or less of program date will not be refunded.
