Spring is the perfect time for renewal from the inside out.
Yoga has many powerful effects, including stretching and strengthening the physical body, calming and quieting the mind – and providing important detoxification and renewal to the internal systems.
In this workshop, you will practice traditional and modern techniques to cleanse and renew the body. You will move through a series of asana (poses), traditional yoga kriya (cleansing exercises), and pranayama (breath exercises) to cleanse and create steadiness in body and mind at the start of spring season. These practices will be guided in 100 degrees of heat to further promote the cleansing of the body. Expect to practice a wide spectrum from modern yoga poses to traditional breath and bandha work (energetic locks) designed to renew the body and bring clarity to mind.
This workshop is open to all levels of yoga practitioners who are comfortable practicing in the heat.

Alex Pfeiffer, who brings a wide variety of yoga philosophies and practices to his teaching coupled with years of experience. Alex leads the Teacher Training at The Studio, and this workshop is part of the Hot Yoga teacher training module.
