Two weeks to a less anxious life.
Many people suffer from the painful effects of anxiety. Spending precious energy feeling nervous, uncertain, restless, doubtful or uneasy creates a challenging situation in which it is difficult to fully trust in ourselves and the world around us. Throughout the three week series we will incorporate breathing techniques, gentle yoga poses and journal writing as practical tools which serve to activate the parasympathetic wing of our nervous system. We will also treat ourselves to the potent practice of Yoga Nidra, otherwise known as Yogic Sleep.
This series is a safe space to learn yogic techniques which, with continued practice, will re-build confidence, contentment, acceptance, awareness and peacefulness. This class is suitable for students of all abilities who are willing to get to know themselves at a deeper, more meaningful level.
This series was born out of a two-hour Yoga for Anxiety workshop which had radiating feedback and left participants wanting more. We hope the series helps you continue to build your toolbox of ways to curb anxiety giving you a sense of relief and growth.
