Did you know that physiologically not only is your breath different on inhale and exhale, but your ability to focus is also enhanced or inhibited depending upon how you breathe and hold your posture? As a Respiratory Therapist and Yoga Instructor, Ken will explore these ideas with you while we practice yoga to unlock the diaphragm, ribs and shoulders.
Come prepared to transform your yoga practice, breathe a little easier and learn techniques to focus your thoughts strengthening your mind-body connection. After all, the word yoga comes from the Sanskrit word yogah meaning ‘yoking, joining together’. A system of physical and mental disciplines practiced to attain control of body and mind through a series of postures and breathing exercises.
