I am a graduate student at the UW-Madison with a B.S. in Biochemistry focusing on biochemical and molecular nutrition. My fitness life has always gone hand-in-hand with my drive for knowledge. My yoga journey began with practicing at UW as a way to cope with stress. I followed friends to a local studio in Madison and was hooked instantly. I started a daily practice, earned my 200 Hour Yoga Teacher Certification from Dragonfly Hot Yoga in Feb. 2016 and received my 200 Hour RYT soon after. I fell in love with “work-out” classes at studios during my training and noticed I would bring a fitness element to each of my vinyasa flow classes. I am dedicated to fortifying my practice while strengthening my body. Teaching combines my passion for learning and meeting creative people. To me, yoga and fitness are a never-ending quest for peace and self-love.
