Rebecca first started practicing yoga at the age of 16. A long distance runner, her mother encouraged her to balance her sport with yoga. She ran competitively throughout high school and college, but continued her yoga practice. When she began graduate school, she realized that yoga was not only a way to stretch, but a way to relieve stress. When she moved to New York City, she found yoga was the best way to tune out the buzz on the streets. her practice under Scott Harig turned into a 200-hour Vinyasa/Astanga certification at Pure. She teaches an intricate power flow that challenges students of all levels, with focus on personal assists. Rebecca encourages students to focus inward in the flow and hopes that everyone comes to a place of personal peace within their practice.
